Tripod is about 3m high (set in app), 4k30, Soccer Pro Mode, Auto Tilt on. Recording was one of the best ive had, only struggled when the ball was directly under the camera and off the screen. Took a few seconds to recover. Overall Excellent.

How large was the file size for 4k30fps, and how much battery did it use for 1 game? I think gchen said 4k60fps will be out soon, I wonder if that would double the file size.
I believe the recommendation is to not use 4k60 for soccer. With 4k30 the 1 hour file size was 11GB and it took about 45% battery. Hoping everything gets more efficient in the future as its hard to record 2 games back to back based on battery usage.
Good to know! Thanks for all the info. I might try a 15 foot usb cable to a battery pack to help with the battery issue, hopefully the phone doesn’t overheat.
Come to think of it, possible issues with battery for a full length 90 minute game with additional time for setup, half time, extra time. If thats over 2 hours total could completely kill an iPhone 17 battery based on my experiences.
