Could you add an option to stop tracking when I stop recording? The main issue I have so far with Folocam after recording 3 basketball games is that the camera will follow players during timeouts and afterwards it often won’t follow them back to the court. Centering or moving the DJI Mobile 8p gimbal with the trigger or joystick leads to an error “gimbal not ready.” Manually picking up the tripod to try and get it to focus back onto the court also rarely works. So I ended up having to restart the gimbal and sometimes reconnecting via NFC in order to return the focus back to the court. Through this I missed several minutes of action after timeouts.
This was worse when I had to film from the stands at an angle. But I also had the problem when directly at midcourt on an even plane with the benches.
All games were recorded with iPhone 16 and DJI Mobile 8p. 2 games were recorded from the stands about 5 meters high at an angle from one corner of the court. 1 game I had an optimal mid-court view at 2,5 meters high.
