I came across FoloCam for the first time today and watched a few YouTube videos that look pretty promising.
Is there a roadmap for new features, as well as a timeline for them?
I’ve read about the AI tracker a few times already. Could you please go into a little more detail about what this feature will include?
Is there a timeline for Android support? If so, would I be able to use the gimbal from a Lifetime subscription with Android, or would I need a different gimbal if that feature is implemented?
I don’t have a detailed roadmap. I’ve been working on the AI tracker for a while, and I will share more details in the Facebook beta group once it is ready for beta testing.
The Android support will be considered after the AI tracker, but I can almost guarantee that the Comitok Mogo gimbal will be the one of the first gimbals to be supported by the Android version.
Right now, (from a customer/user) perspective I try to understand where FoloCam is heading towards. Will you solely focus on recording the match while keep improving the ball detection or will you be working also on additional features that would make post production much smoother?
I’d like to compare it to veo go. Yes, veo go is a monthly subscription and I need additional phones but no other system (I’ve tested) comes close to its video editing features (automatic highlights, speedrun feature to cut out when the ball is out, …) and ball tracking.
Instead of re-watching the full match I can focus on what’s important for instagram and save ~1h per match (opportunity costs).
Are features like those mentioned planned in future?
