Does this work for basketball games? Any examples footage?

I am currently using XbotGo AI Gimbal. It works for most parts but also gets stuck or distracted a lot times during youth indoor basketball games.

Is your app paid?

Does the app have scoreboard feature?

Is there are video recording limit?

Is there auto zoom feature?

XbotGo’s tracking algorithm is known to be easily distracted by people walking courtside, even on their latest Falcon model. Our algorithm is much less sensitive to this kind of distraction.

The app is free if you only record 10-minute clips and if you don’t use live streaming. For unlimited recording and live streaming you’ll need to upgrade to the premium version which costs $50 per year (but you can run the app on multiple iPhones under the same Apple account).

At the moment, there’s no scoreboard or auto-zoom, but both are planned for a future update.

Ok. I am planning to try it out but $50/year seems steep (rather than one time cost of the app) for something the running local on my own hardware. If there are some features like analytics, etc. that would at least justify the cost. Make me wonder if I can try to build it locally for myself.

Also there are bunch of missing features like auto zoom, scorecard, etc.

Overall seems promising - I like the overall approach. Good luck!

In a couple of weeks I’ll be selling a $150 FoloCam Kit on amazon which includes a gimbal and a lifetime subscription (tied to the gimbal, not your apple account). Will you be interested in that?

I just bought the Comitok Mogo recommended on this forum to try this out. Not sure if I should return it. One time/Lifetime subscription sounds like the way to go for this.

But I’ll will decide after I experiment with your app this weekend and compare it to my XbotGo experience. Looks like I’ll still have to pay $50 to record my kids video :frowning: this weekend.
