I’m new to the community.
I have an Insta360 Flow 2 Pro and an iPhone 13.
Today I used the app for the first time at a soccer game and I’m very impressed with how well it already works.
The tracking is almost perfect and the panning is very smooth.
One issue is that when players with the ball are behind the goal, the camera initially focuses on them instead of the goalkeeper, who is taking a goal kick.
In 70 minutes, I only experienced one inexplicable connection drop and had to restart my gimbal.
Unfortunately, there are few settings options for the recordings.
The camera is capable of 4K 60fps, but it records in 4K 30fps.
Another problem is that I can’t review the recordings while they’re in progress. This would be desirable, at least when using a tripod at a height of 2-4 meters, to be able to make adjustments without having to lower the camera to 1.5 meters and start over.
This can sometimes take a few minutes of gameplay.
I haven’t been able to test the RTMP function in the test version yet, as it’s not enabled. I would appreciate a trial period for that as well.
There’s also no zoom function implemented. AI zoom would be very welcome.
Currently, I can’t get my iPhone 11 Pro to connect to the gimbal. I’d like to use it because it has three cameras, and I’m hoping for better zoom if that feature is implemented.
I hope that some of these suggestions might be incorporated.
I will continue testing and may even invest in the app.
Overall, I think it’s a great app.
