Just purchased an Insta360 Flow 2 Pro and accompanying “throwpod” (tripod) that extends up to 3.6 feet. Is there an optimal height for recording a 7v7 soccer game with FoloCam that people have found? Do I just set it up as high as possible? Excited to use it for the first time this weekend and was curious as to the best way to set things up.
Usually you’ll want to set the camera as high as possible so the ball isn’t obscured by players.
However, with FoloCam, you can literally hold the gimbal in your hand and still get great footage.
3.6 feet is probably too low. You can get a 15-foot tripod on Amazon for just a bit more:
